For
daily planning purposes, The Kids Place maintains a schedule, yet it is very flexible
in regards to your child's needs. Our focus is to meet the ever-changing emotional
and physical needs of your child. At this stage of your child's life, the most valuable
vehicle for learning is through PLAY. Our Toddler Program offers an enriching and
stimulating program for your child. We encourage the development of large motor
skills with indoor and outdoor play, as well as through healthy social interactions
with other children. Fine motor skills are developed with a variety of manipulatives
such as building blocks, puzzles, clay, and other age-appropriate toys and activities.
Your child will be introduced to activities such as tumbling, dance, music, and
movement. We concentrate on developing a love of reading through a variety of books
and flannelboard stories.
